On Wednesday, through numerous evolutions, the recruits became very familiar with their SCBA's and how they work. They learned different techniques for navigating any confined spaces, narrow openings, low hanging wires. The SCBA confidence Course was originally designed by the South Milwaukee Fire Dept. FF Dave Parmenter and FF Mike Hale constructed the fully mobile and movable prop. This evolution was an important process in the 2008 recruit class and this is also a mandatory yearly training for New Haven-Adams Township Firefighters.
