Engine 11 was put into service after a few weeks of hard work by all 3 shifts getting tools mounted and marked, brackets mounted appropriately, hose packed in all hose beds, radios installed, tow hitch for water rescue and familiarization training. Shortly after 4pm today Engine 11 was in service and made it's first run just moments later on a minor car crash. Around midnight Engine 11 made a motorcyle accident. Special thanks to everyone from all shifts/stations who helped to get the new Engine in service as quickly as possible. Also a big thanks to our community and our Governing body for the support of our department and the ability to purchase quality apparatus.
